What's new

Is this a Boeing 757 or A321

Who cares what type of aircraft it is…
What amazes me is the parking crew is waiting, folks are actually moving as if they have some concern, and the Jetway driver is ready and gets it to the aircraft immediately! I want to work for this company.
OK I'm glad I'm not the only one that caught that (I didn't really care either what kind of plane it was). My first thought was that wasn't Philly.

The 757 doesn't have a blade antenna up top that close to the cockpit. Also the engines seem to be more inboard to the wing root. I don't think it is a 757.

Funny how no one mentioned that it does'nt even sound like a 321. The Rolls Royce engines have a distinctive noise. You don't even have to look up, you know instantly by the sound of the engine that it's a 757.

Sound on video cameras can be deceptive. All other queues indicate 321.

More importantly, WHO CARES? All this thread shows is that people can argue--what was the point of this thread anyway?

What I find utterly amazing is the way this kid argued and argued with the person who shot the video - who is obviously a ramper for USAir. Check out the comments on the youtube video - the ramper/videographer showed considerable patience with the OP - more than deserved, if you ask me.
