I would imagine that there is a base in CLT being considered in the future. Your inability to hold a position there should be of concern to you. ALPA allowing your seniority to be compromised by junior pilots is going to be the problem. J4J is misrepresentation by ALPA. The original agreement was a new jet for a job for a US furloughed pilot. With this the US pilot is given a PSA seniority number. Now that they are showing up to work and finally looking at the quality of life that their seniority provides, they are once again disgruntled. So they have the US MEC to go and bark about it. Eager, as they consistantly are to complain and bicker, now are attempting to try and get hard lines out of seniority. I have respect for all pilots in general, but a group that is trying to undermine the seniority system of the entire industry, we should proceed with caution. With 70 seaters on the ramp in YUL waiting to be flown because of bickering about who will fly them, it's only a matter of time. Maybe in the future the regionals should scope the majors from flying anything over 90 seats. They did it, why can't regionals. It's all about job protection right?
