Interesting move by SWA going outside for this position

Doxey was in Ops finance here at UAL. He somehow parlayed that into becoming our VP of Tech Ops. Nice enough guy to talk to, but his forte didn't seem to be in Tech Ops other than the $$$ side of it. He was only VP for alittle less than 3 years before he left for Breeze.

Good to know. Thx for info. New he had a stint at UAL but didn't know the role he had. We are hearing some rumors of a poss tie up, merger or agreement with Breeze, and this is the start of it. Give it up to 5 years or less and we shall see.
Could it be that he is being brought in to help oversee a merger? Who knows. But SWA needs planes bad, needs growth bad, needs to spread out plane options, and needs a way to do it faster than Boeing is supplying aircraft. I thought SWA might go after Spirit after the second "no thx" from Frontier and now this news of Breeze CFO coming here is all very interesting. Again TSH; all rumor mill, but you know how that goes in aviation, small world folks...
