Two quick questions

I'm doing an id90 next week on AA.

In the unlikely event that there's room upfront will AA put non-revs (other airlines) in fc like we do?

What is the dress code for non-revs. One section of our non-rev guide says business casual another section says jeans are ok in yc?

Thanks
Rion

AA won't put you up front. There is a slight, slight, possibility that an agent might. It is doubtful though.

Jeans are ok in coach. As long as they aren't old ripped up and stained jeans. I would suggest not wearing them though. The old school agents might give you a hard time about them and it is awfully annoying missing your flight while the agents argue back and forth about allowable dress code.

I just checked in on Aloha airlines the other day and my friend from UAL checked in right next to me. We had on the same shoes and she was given a hard time about them and I wasn't. I think it was because she was in jeans and I wasn't.

Also, if you are in jeans and/or running/athletic type shoes, you have NO chance of being upgraded to F/C. If you are dressed business casual (or better), there are some agents who will upgrade you when space is available. But, they endanger their own job if they upgrade you when you are wearing anything less than business casual.
