Guess you need a history lesson, the IAM did not lump utility in with mechanics, it was the National Mediation Board who did.

Funny a utility at NWA makes $20.04 an hour.

mr 700; you are wrong again, the iam lobbied, corted, sweetened, whored itself with the national mediation board so the utility classification would not be removed from the mechanical classification ( a leverage the iam used to defuse any mechanic uprising and of course more DUES.; STRENTH IN NUMBERS DO NOT WORK, REMEMBER THE USSR. WE ARE NOT ALL EQUAL . NOT EVEN IN HEAVEN.

PSA in california was represented by the teamsters PSA HAD NO UTILITY , ramp cleaned the aircraft ( the point is utility is a negotiated classification and not a MUST HAVE like mechanics)

utility came on board back in the 50's when the govement subsidized the airlines REMEMBER THE IAM USED TO REPRESENT MOST OF THE AIRLINES .

by the way; are you mechanic or ute ?

AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS

You really need to read your contact.

Page 6, Article 2

Paragraph A

The Company recognizes, in accordance with Certification Case No. R-2146, by the National Mediation Board, dated April 12, 1946.

Mechanic and Utility were placed upon the same certification back in 1946 when the IAM was certified as the collective bargaining agent.

Don't let the facts get in your way, you are 0 for 2 now.

Still waiting for you to show me how mechanics at US were making $35 an hour.

by the way; are you mechanic or ute ?

He's a cleaner/stock clerk/know it all whos been riding the wave.Well guess what. That wave is about to hit the beach.

Don't be jealous. And I have not been riding any waves. I have paid my dues and worked hard on behalf of all IAM members.

And don't worry about me, I will be just fine.

And there are no cleaners at US Airways, they are called Utility.

Your kidding!!!!! I thought this guy was a MECHANIC!

Had I known he wasn't, I wouldn't have taken his ton of BS about MAE so seriously. You just made my day.

Everything I said about MAE is fact. Go call the PMI of US Airways in PIT or contact the IAM Flight Safety Committee.

No where in any of my posts did I what classification I was and none of you know for sure.

Wrong again ace.You have stated many times what you do for U.Remember when your screen name was "Lavman",or how about "edited"?

Then why did you talk to all the "fine" folks at MAE like you told us?

Typical Pilot attitude, and you wonder why people dislike pilots.

How many times have you refused an airplane that is if you are a Captain, because the autopilot was on MEL?

Don't pilots get paid to fly, never seen an autopilot cash a paycheck.

IAM MECHANICS ONLY ---- ok and the uts and stock

question; when will the new contract changes, either ( negociated or impossed) be implemented ?

do you get severance if you get laydoff ? or since severance is a negociated benefit, will we loose it if the contract is gone ?

just a simple question.
