I hope that NorthWorst goes Chapter 7

This is so true but I think it goes beyond that. The American people have lost control of their country. They realize this but will not admit it so now they just wonder around in oblivion.

That is where WE, the mechanics on strike at nwa, are different. Instead of standing around and taking what the master decided to throw us from his table, we took a stand. A stand that I and others have no regrets over. So when I'm on my last day I don't even have to think about whether I did the right thing. "Any last words Dad?...yyeeesss...I wish I had scabbed at northwest...uuhhh." :p

This might be due in part to the opportunists without ethics and integrity. :stupid:

Please tell us your theology of how crossing a Union Picket Line is going to save Unionism again. :p

First off, ............"Excellent Screen Name"

(SCREW BUSH/GOP)

As to your wish for a "new kid in town", be careful what you wish for, because you stand a 50/50 chance of getting AA(Talk about PISSED off employees...  )

NH/BB's

Thank you for your compliment on the screen name. I adopted it following the Ohio debacle of 2004.

AA may not want DTW, MSP or MEM, they have larger fish to fry. Probably UAL or USAir would expand, possibly get in low fare carriers for a welcome change.

You might see a few extra flights to each carriers' respective hubs, or larger gauge equipment, but that would be about it. Since you have said that you don't mind making a connection somewhere, that might be enough for you, but what about the rest of the populace?

Also, despite your contempt for NW, remember how many jobs the airport provides both directly, and indirectly; regardless of what industry you work in, the economy of MSP would definitely take a hit. I'm assuming you don't own your own business?

As for low fare carriers, if they wanted fly there (read:WN), they'd already be in. In the meantime, you have FL, Frontier, Sun Country, and US (who like to consider themselves an "LCC").

I hate to sound cliche, but if you don't like NW, don't (continue not to) fly them. It really is that simple.

By the way, when did FL move to the Humphrey terminal?
