YOu know...that looks pretty good!
You should see the inside. The front row would be comfortable for Yao Ming. Completely different galleys. Tons of storage and compartments. Right rear row has a huge gap between the row and the galley wall. Rear lav is in front of the galley on the pilot side. Dark navy blue carpet with Southwest seats. Different bins with "hand rails." Only seating 128 until the reconfiguration. It's interesting, but not so much that the average flyer would notice a big difference.
Just curious...what's the story with this livery? Did WN acquire this 73 from somewhere else and just not paint it yet?
Both aircraft are to be re-painted in standard SWA colors and standard interiors in the coming months. I think they both have different galleys and seat 128 (vs. 137 for all other SWA's -700's) if I'm not mistaken
Are you sure that's not a USair paint job with 'Southwest' up the tail? Now that they can't get Delta, Parker may be after WN.Actually, N270WN was painted in the WN Spirit Livery right after we got it last fall. N271 was held back because we needed her in the fleet for the Holiday rush.
And by the way, the first -300 with winglets should be in service in about a week.
