Last time I saw 173 was still flying and is not being returned also a/c 840 was also delivered and is in paint.
the last paper I saw with a/c returns the majority of our returns are done just a couple more a/c 327 was parked on thursday waiting to be sent back it was an ols us airways plane we got rid of all the old us airways plane we got except 328 & 323.
and for the rat jets I think there are at least 3 painted I know I saw 1 crj-200 painted the other day. maybe a mesa person would know better.

Well I am glad you are researching your new employer.... :p funny how the ferries for paint are listed, or are you trying to say that we are farming out repaints, where as iam cba would not?

on the paint, gee it looks almost identical to the "old" HP paint, just has some blue, gray stripes and a bit of red, before you mention the big difference, the name change, it is that, just a name, most pax will not care about the name on the plane, but what they are paying for the plane do for them

Just got the info from the Yahoo Mojave Group which Terry Nash of Cactus Wings posts the info, very informative.

Wow! Have the schedules been cut back to deal with all these planes being at the paint shop? Seems like they're cycling a lot of birds in and out of service right now.

I wonder if LCC is paying for Mesa's new paint job?

Not quite the right new tail # that was in paint... It was actually 839 that was the most recently delivered HP aircraft (2 FEB) and may be out of painting in ROS by now...

N840AW will be delivered on or about 13 Feb, and ferried on or about 14 Feb from HAM to ROS for immediate paint.

After that A319 delivery, all of the Airbus deliveries (HP & US) have been deferred until 2009 or later. Sure do hope they advance some of them or pick up some more A330s before the A350 starts deliveries in 2011 for US. More narrow body Airbus would be nice to come along sooner than 2009, too... We'll see.

It appears things are running as scheduled to change over the formal AWA planes. I mean, orange and turgoise with a big America West doesn't exactly scream the new US Airways.lol

Right now the loads are low so they are painting 5 lines until the end of Feb then they will stop for spring break then start up again in April.
