my dad , a MX in CLT, has a friend in MSP who works for NW, he is a manager in the hangar and he was at a conference, the news was that all the airlines are now looking at us airways, every other airline is saying that us airways will become the no.1 us carrier, so i guess thats the good stuff, NW is learning from us !

Good news. Such prolific emulation in which to be proud. :down: NWA is looking to lower the bar further with the help of a SCAB line maintenance force in MSP and DTW, with everwhere ( and everything ) else farmed out, and a very sycophantic courts system to neautralize everyone else's contracts while in bankruptcy. And on and on the cycle goes............
If they could get their incidents down to less than 1/week they might just get there.
If there's anything good at all, it's US doing better due to a better business plan and better leadership acumen compared to a year ago...that, and the price of oil at least ( hopefully ) stabilizing. Not setting the benchmark of plundering corporate robber barons.
