You're doing just fine by yourself.  In TEXAS no less.  Make a big deal out of your right to carry your AK strapped on your back into a Whataburger and Whataburger will put up a sign prohibiting the open AND conceal carry weapons.  Looks like in the past, shop owners just let it ride and let people conceal carry into their establishments since nobody would really know if they were carrying.  But because some "gun nuts" wanted to be able to show the world how small their penises were by toting their AK's around, shop owners are ordering signs barring both open AND conceal carry.  Be careful what you fight for....you just might get it.
