Feeder Mesaba Could Be Forced Into Bankrupcty

There's also a couple routes out of DEN which really require the Avro or Bae146, which used to be flown by AirWisc for UA.

It wouldn't surprise me to see United and Mesaba reach some sort of deal for Mesaba to operate perhaps 10-15 of the RJ-85s into ASE and other similar locations in the Rockies. ASE in particular has a pretty high yield. And these planes are significantly newer and perform a little better than the 146s that AWAC are currently flying (for another 6 months or so) on United's behalf. JMHO.
