FAA Fines US AIRWAYS over 757 mechanical ISSUES

Federal officials have proposed penalizing US Airways $354,500 because, they say, the airline flew a jet 916 times after failing to perform required tests and an inspection on an engine repair.

Well, at least SOMEONE beside us (AA) is being called to task for maintenance issues. Though I must say you all are amateurs. Our proposed penalty for not doing some maintenance is $162 MILLION!

Yikes!!! That would put a dent in my profit sharing check.

Well, since we haven't made an annual profit is quite some time, "profit" sharing is not an issue.

But then, our executives do not believe in sharing anyway...particularly when the item to be shared is money. Just remember that if/when you think merging with AMR is a good idea. Our executives might just be the honchos in the merged organization.
