F/A Recurrent May 4th HELP!

I am just glad they plan on keeping the U manual like it is and not following what West does with their manuals. The west manual is both emergency/policy procedures all in one...uughh! I remember when we had to carry the policy procedure manual while on probation, that thing was huge!!! I could not wait to leave that thing at home!! Does anyone still have one?

Yippee....its done. I even stayed to do the intl service training. Yes you were all right the training/testing was the same. A couple of changes due to AWA. Computer training with work book worth 6hrs. Will eliminate workbook. Greaat cost saving to us. The quarterly will be a great refresher.
We were introduced to the emergency equipment on board there a/c's. Roll play in mock up with a full crew reading from the emergency manual was new to me.
Long days. Silly to see powerpoints and have the instructers just read them aloud.
My first trip is this week...I'm open block...etb is new to me...my chices are ven, bch, ams or snn....first one what would you suggest? I'm going for 767 again 30 is scarey to me. Thanks to all.

Had int'l with displaced pit F/A's all great attitudes. With swa flying as us competition its opened up the availability for them to commute easier. Best of luck to them.

ps what position would you prefer an unseasoned f/a to take on either the 7I or 30?

I wonder how they are going to integrate both US and West policies.

I heard that US F/A are going to adopt our door/disarming procedures. I'm not sure if it's a rumour or not; but ever since we've done this procedure, we have reduced our slide deployment.

Now here in the west, we brief our exit row passengers and east doesn't, guard the doors and we also make a gazzillion announcements.

i hate briefing exit rows. hope they dont start that again, or that nonsense where the f/a cant go past an exit row.... no one will follow it anyway. interested to see wests door procedures maybe they are better. i also think the quarterly refresher is a good idea keep everyone up to date. ecxiting times, ready for a change
