Equity Update

Control over what, you seem like you don't even know, it's like you have been heavily indoctrinated, and chant "we need change" but change and control over what, what betterments would come our way.

I've been with the firm over 32 years, and through every AMFA drive during that time. I have read both constitutions, one of them clearly gives the membership direct control over the union leadership - it isn't the TWU. What betterments? suffice to say, we couldn't do any worse than the TWU, and that is good enough for most of us.

Besides why would a FSC care what AMTs want?

"I asked the same question but was told that he did not care. But ordering others around he understands.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL TWU MEMBERS WHO ARE SET TO RECEIVE THE EQUITY PAYOUT...

It is extremely important that American Airlines has your correct mailing address on file. AA will provide that information to Computershare who will be mailing any payout check to the address provided. If you have not moved since the initial 2012 stock distribution you should be fine. This also applies to anyone eligible for distribution that have since left the company.

Most folks I have quizzed, feel approximately $1200 is a number they will see on their equity checks.
I have always maintained $1500-$2500...guess we will see soon, hopefully.

If the fund is $130,000,000 and divide by 33,000 participants less 38% taxes , roughly 1500.00 but they will vary.

The IAM is not included in your calculations so there aren’t 33,000 participants.

Don’t quote me on this but I think Sean Doyle told me their were 22,000 “eligible” participants. And eligibility doesn’t mean everyone gets the same cut.

strike one was: 33,000

strike two was: 38% taxes

didn't the recent update tell us in a good way that the irs would not tax the amount at 35%? instead, it will be taxed at 38%?

for 'illustrative' purposes only, the twu's powerpoint used the figures of 11,000 for AMT and 10,000 for FSC.

say, apprx. $95 million divided by apprx. 23,000? yes, AMT will get bigger portions.
