thats stuff is all sad

i know for usre th A330 stuff wont get sold, no other US airline owns A330s beside US and NW, i hope that widebody maintenance will come back in house, parker beleives that doing work in house is much cheaper than doing it outsourced

i hope he does that, i wish i cold find his email adress to get him

Parker believes no such thing.

HP outsources all heavy maintenance to Timco and TACA.

You should go to the link and look at the top of page 15. The late added addition is A330 tooling etc.

NFS...good to see you're still kicking and still kicking 700's behind...he needs it that’s for sure. I think the guy is basically ok except he has this convoluted idea that unions are his savior, his belief system is aiming in the wrong direction.

I am very open on who I am. I am cavalier and now calibrator thanks to a good friend of mine who I now work with at a real company. My name is indeed Curt, so what weight does that carry and why would 700 make a non issue an issue, for the sake of screaming at each other on these boards maybe?

I see the same old people saying the same old thing and nothing really ever changes, except the top dogs coming and going making themselves into multi millionaires while the unions do absolutely nothing about it.

The things which have occurred in the working man's world are nothing short of radical, requiring a radical response which the union leaders of the day are afraid to address. Unless and if new blood takes up the challenges facing American labor with new radical ideas and actions, then we the working people especially the younger ones with many years left to go before even thinking of retirement are screwed until their very deaths. It is fast becoming the way it was before unions and the founding "radical fathers" who made things happen by not being passive. Live by the law and let it suffocate the last breath out of you or change the laws by radical change, otherwise our children are in for tough times thanks to pansies labor leaders of the day.

Kicking my behind?

I just proved what he posted to be false.

And you don't know me and practicing online psychiatry now?

I think everybody here that reads your post know you or at least knows your kind.

One of these days my friend, and I truly wish the best for you and all of the US family, you're going to wake up and discover you were bad wrong. It took me the last 5 of 25 to wake up and discover that management and the union didn't give a rats arse about anything except picking my pockets to line their own.

Having said that, you do have my respect. Just try to escape that tunnel of thought about your union.

I don't have tunnel thought about the IAM, I don't agree with everything they do, but I choose to be involved and be able to effect change and try to make working conditions better under the CBA.

I am very involved on what happens with my union, could you have said the same?

You don't know me at all, I am a trade unionist and will fight against the injustices that the company does on the IAM members.

Okay brother. Beat that dead horse till it dies.

And I was very involved with my union. Problem was, lack of solidarity among members which in turn made management stronger and the union powerless. The union made no constructive efforts to solidify it members. How could they. What could they possibly offer except stupid buttons and slogans. They were spineless when it came to standing up to management and the members seen this and realized they were paying for nothing.

I don't want to get into a pissing contest here, and I admit that at the end of the day, in this industry, I would prefer to be represented. I sure would have liked to gotten my monies worth is all.

And when can a union tell a company they can't sell the equipment US Airways owns?

(edited),

Your anti-union venom is not healthy, and since you don't work here and are not an IAM member, why does it matter to you?
[post="302199"][/post]
Glad to see that you edited your post.....I was correct...Your apoligy is accepted

I did not edit it and I did not apologize, you need to read the post where he signs his name.

You are the one who needs to apologize.

We're not even going to start down this path since neither one of you is going to budge. Even though a member may elect to sign their real name to a post, please refrain from using it in case they change their mind about being known later on.
