GOP picks up five states as of just now...

Colorado
Montana
Arkansas
South Dakota
West Virgina

Only one more needed to retake the majority, and there are a couple of races which look like they will go GOP...

Fox already called NH for Shaheen, but with 74% of the votes in, Scott Brown is leading. Will be interesting to watch how that one comes in. I don't expect Brown to win, but it's a lot closer than I'd expected.

Fox just called Iowa for the GOP. That's 51.

All that's left to call seems to be AK, LA, VA, and NC.

LA will go GOP after the runoff.

In NC, Tillis is leading NC by 49% with 98% reporting. It's hard to say if Hagan will pull it off with that last 2%.

Now that the GOP has Congress I guess we will see what they have to offer.  My guess is not much.

It's what they can stop that is more important. Starting with no amnesty for illegals!

That 'carpetbagging deutch bag' CONCEEDED !  (A DOUBLE LOSER...starting in his own back yard, MA.)

Jeanne Shaheen, The FIRST woman Governor in NH HISTORY (as a DEM, no less).
Jeanne Shaheen, the O N L Y politician in US HISTORY to be both a Governor AND US Senator (as a Woman no less, AND a DEM, AND from 'lil 'ol New Hampshaaaaaaaaaaaaa)

I see the PA. voters THREW OUT a REPUG governor, and replaced him with a DEM..????????????????????????????

Like I said, Bears, clutch those pearls where the Dems did OK. Shaheen won, but Shea-Porter got booted by the GOP contender (the only incumbent to lose in NH)

Harry Reid is losing his gavel, and now Obama may have to actually work with Congress.

He'll also have to think twice about who gets nominated for SCOTUS or Cabinet positions, since they'll never allow a recess appointment.

You mean Tom Wolf, supported by many union wonks whose kitchen cabinet empire is NON UNION?

Brown probably threw in the towel at 52.

America has told the progressives they are on the wrong side of the street.

Expecting Obama to go full Mussolini now.

Looks like some can stick the race card and the War on Women up their assses.

It's quite simple to say no to something.  The GOP has got that nailed down pat.  The more difficult thing is providing a solution.  Saying no to amnesty will not prevent people from coming across the border.

I'm wondering how the democrats visa vie Harry Reid are going to operate under the jackbooted "nuclear" option rules, now that the boot is on the other foot.
