A face like that would scare anybody!
Ahhhhhhh. The smell of misogyny in the morning.

Why is it that people on all side think it's OK to criticize a woman's looks but you rarely hear someone talking about Rove, Wrangler, McCain or others.

Talking about someone's politics is one thing but going after someone's looks which is beyond their control is just juvenile. I'm sure GO magazine is not knocking on any ones door on this board.

I guess that clears up how you feel about punishing criminal behavior.
The only thing it should clears up is that I think the punishment should fit the crime.

If the cost of sending him to prison exceeds the value of those excess contributions by a pretty wide margin, what purpose is being served? Being right for the sake of being right?...

His donations obviously didn't skew the election -- his candidate lost. Had it skewed the election, like what the IRS did with denying certain organizations status, then a steeper punishment should apply.

I though we were worried about election credibility. Can we apply the same metric to the voter ID thing since there were only 10 cases of voter ID fraud. I'm willing to bet know since that will hurt Democrats more.

Carry on.

If the guy pleads guilty, how exactly is he not being held accountable? The conviction remains on his record forever, regardless if he serves zero jail time or a full 16 months.

You keep coming back to "only" 10 cases of voter ID fraud. If you're not checking ID's of everyone casting a ballot at the polls, how can you even start to measure the actual size of the problem?

The only way it will hurt Democrats is if they were the ones committing the fraud.

I don't buy the "I can't get an ID" bullshite. It's a cop-out.

Seriously, how long can you go thru life without having to present a photo ID at some point?

I had to pull mine out four times in the last two days. Twice at the airport, once when checking into a hotel, and fourth when paying at a restaurant with a credit card.

Heck, I can't even drop my recycling off at the local dump without presenting a photo ID to get in the gate...

It would seem quite a few people do go through life with out ID. Elderly and the poor make up the bulk of them.

Is there anything in the COTUS about trash or movie rentals?

Is there anything in the COTUS which says I have to present a photo ID to check a bag, enter an airport, cash a check or open a checking account?

Again, how does one go thru life without the need for an ID? The elderly and poor can't use Medicaid or Medicare without a photo ID. They also can't apply for unemployment, food stamps, or just about any other social welfare program without a photo ID.

Yet, they can cast a ballot?

Seriously, show me how all these people who are incapable of getting a government issued photo ID card get thru everyday life...

Queer eye for the political guy?

Is there anything in the COTUS about the right to check a bag, enter an airport or banking transactions?  Is there anything in the COTUS about the right to vote?
