Just seeing if anyone knows how the first round of negotiations went, What was talked about? I know there was a letter posted on our union bored here in phx about ressions and fuel prices and blah blah blah. I just trying to see what was really talked about.

i know they are meeting at the end of the month in Philly, just trying so see what the word is, since we the people dont hear anything from our union

Company offered $19hr again but extended over a longer timeframe, and according to the informational meetings in PHL, the company wanted the COC out of the agreement, along with profit sharing and still wanted a 2 year extension.

My understanding is that it appeared to be a staged event as Boss Canale and the entire two time negotiations team wanted to sign immediately, however the 3 newbies said no way. Good for them. At any rate, the new chief negotiator is the solidarity across the ramp. Boss Canale is relegated to messenger status only. If Al can't get it right then screw transition, screw merger, screw it all.
