8. Feds arrest Delta baggage handlers in drug smuggling probe at Metro

Detroit— Federal agents today arrested 10 Delta Air Lines Inc. employees suspected of smuggling marijuana and cocaine from Jamaica while working at Detroit Metro Airport, The Detroit News has learned.

In all, 12 people were arrested today and will make initial appearances this afternoon in U.S. District Court in Detroit. The warrants remain sealed in federal court.
