Dignity and Respect
This is how AMFA's constitution demonstrates dignity and respect to its members. Article XIV of AMFA's constitution that outlines how members can be put on trial, fined and even expelled from the Union for such offenses as:
"Use of indecent or profane language during a meeting"
"Conduct disgraceful to himself and the Association"
"Crossing an AMFA picket line"
"Acting in any manner to circumvent, defeat, or interfere with the collective bargaining between the Association and an employer"
"Acting in any manner which is against or derogatory to the best interest of the Association"
Article XIV, Section 4 provides that the "jury" assigned to hear the charges consists of a five member committee appointed at the sole discretion of the Local Union President, or you can be put on trial before AMFA's entire National Convention. Article XIV, Section 7 specifies you have the right to have a lawyer represent you during this trial, provided the lawyer is a member of AMFA-how realistic is that?
In other words, AMFA has the right to put you on trial conceivably in front of its entire National Convention, with no right to counsel unless you can find a lawyer who happens to be a member of AMFA, Note: amfa has sent letters on at least two different occasions requesting money from their members before they would pursue a grievance! Per Lee Seham Attorney) for such a nebulous offense as "acting in a manner which is against or derogatory to the best interest of AMFA," where you risk being fined, or worse expelled from the union (which in most cases means being fired by your employer).
Amfa dictates member's conduct
Here is a Read and Sign Document!
Typical for a Company Union!

Read carefully! You will see amfa National is dictating to the Members and in fact does not even trust their own membership!
One of amfa’s Slogans has been:
The Members vote on “all Letters of Agreementsâ€
In fact this is the Farthest from the Truth!
