Comair is getting a bunch of the crj700s. I think ASA is only getting a couple of more for the year. What ever the case, alot of 70 seat airplanes are coming to ASA and Comair. It will interesting to see where they end up.

Have more CR7s been develivered or will the stations continue to see reliability problems since there or so few in the fleet?

Here are the first Comair CRJ700 routes.

CVG-BUF 1x
CVG-OMA 2x
CVG-ALB 1x
CVG-BGR 1x
CVG-DTW 1x

All CRJ700's are being used to upgrade 50 seat RJ's....no mainline replacement.

I was kind of surprised to see BGR on the list. It's nice to see DL add some capacity in small markets once in a while.

Anyone know the latest on the 737 redeployments? Haven't heard anything out of DL for quite sometime now.

As far as the list of cities goes for the new Comair CR7s...DTW was a bit of a shock. Would have figured TOL over them first. However, the ATR-72 out of TOL is a 1030AM flight to CVG, versus a 4PM departure from DTW on the CRJ-700 -- scheduling probably landed it there over TOL or even GRR.

Art actually in Deltamatic comair has scheduled to replace two flight with CR7s. The moring and the night departure will also be CRJ-700 aircraft. The reason this was not announced is because this will not go into effect until Jan of 2003.

On a slightly different angle, does DL still fly AT7s?

Whose are they? ASA?

The 9/1 Delta timetable (the one with the, ahem, endowed ballet guy on the cover ) shows what looks like about half of all of ASA's flights as being operated with the stretch ATRs.
Only ASA has them.

ASA has 19 ATR-72's. All are 66 seats. Three are deployed to MCI untill Comair gets their 70 seaters. Only ASA has them. Word is that ASA is currently looking at the -500 or the D-8Q400. Should here something in the next few months concerning the new aircraft. ASA was to have 11 70 seaters by the end of the year, but that is up in the air do to financing problems. Personally, I think it has to do with the current negotiations going on between DALPA and management. We will see.

Assume you mean MCO, not Kansas City...

Actually, I think you mean CVG which is where a few ATR's were sent. I haven't seen any in MCO (which just recently went all jet).
