David Siegel's Speech- Nov 12th

Kinda sounds like he was and code sharing with UA on on their LCC Ted....so must be Bill & Ted's excellent adventure  If there is a project that goes forward called "Bill" Hopefully they have learned from Metrojets mistakes.

Hmmm....

Was he serious about a US AIrways LCC codenamed "BILL" ?
Yes, he was serious. B I L L is an acronym for "Believe In Less Labor"

T E D is short for "Tedious Equipment Delays"

Hmmmmmmmm.......

Yes, but it's obvious that it would be the "evil robot Bill and Teds".

My, how this discussion has degraded fast.
That's right "Dave", it's hard for your employees to take you seriously anymore!

Re: Band T's excellent adventure.

Siegel couldn't pass up the joke either - it got a little chuckle. Was his calling the newest European city "Glass Cow" also meant to be a joke?

Work on that accent, Dave.

Hey, Atlantic Beach, I used to live at 574 Ocean ... when it was cheap! :)

FLYGUY.... That's too funny I must of been typing my response the same time as you.... Great Minds think Alike.... ;)

Sounds more like the lame-o sequel:

Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey

Could this be the much anticipated "Excellent Corporate Transaction" (ECT)?

In solidarity,
-Airlineorphan

P.S. Or maybe the teleprompter messed up, he was supposed to be calling it "Bull"
:p :p :p

What a marketing campaign this will be "Bill and Ted's next adventure , come and join us"

:p

I hear it as we have to compete with LCC's as a hole not just with express if that means he wants more he must be crazy. It is always clear they just always have to hint at that. Hide your money mask men are coming

The most interesting thing I heard and saw was slide #5. Delta is now the largest intra-east coast carrier, USAirways is now number 2. I guess that happened during the slide to 279, 278, 277, 276 aircraft in the fleet.

For those hoping for MDA to save their skin, one analyst asked what the growth rate would be for the airline given the tripling of the RJ fleet over the next 24 months. Dave hemmed and hawed then offered an 'estimate' of a 5% increase. 200 more hulls in the form of RJ's and ASM or RPM's (he did not say what the 5% would be) will only incrementally increase.

Does this mean the 279, 278, 277, 276 aircraft in the fleet will be dropping further? I do not have 'sources' other than my eyes and ears and friends, its looking bleaker by the day.

Did any of the analysts ask Dave how much Delta pays their pilots?
