In case you all are interested, Dave Siegel was rumored to have flown from DCA to HPN this morning on Flt 4380, and returned from HPN to PHL on Flt 4295/3737 to DCA.....was he job hunting with Atlas Air or Virgin Atlantic (America) both of whom have headquarters near White Plains?

I hope it wasnt the poor fella with the same name with the FF account and house in the Carribbean. :D He must be tired of saying, "No, I'm not him."

If you do see Siegel, and he's looking for a job, tell him MAA may be hiring F/As off the street by the end of the year. We'll keep a fresh set of gloves for him (to clean the plane) and a sleeping bag at the hotel crashpad for him. ;)

nowonder usair is in the shape it is in today this airline gives more to former ceos' than their own employees how shameful!

Atlas is going into BK too. Maybe he can BS them for a year and skim another 4.5+ million.

Does anyone know if Dave gets to fly on Usairways for free for the rest of his life for putting in his 2 years? If I quit tomorrow after 27 years of service, I don't get to keep my term pass cause I'm not 55 yet. Whats wrong with this picture?

I believe that he does get to fly free, along with wife, child, parents. (In first class)
I wish and hope I am wrong, but all other former Pres and CEO and Board members fly for life.

Look at the past post the guy put out about all past folks still fly on us for free.....To me until somone puts a stop to this, the unions should not even talk to anyone......

What happened to the non-compete part of the agreement and severance package? Did someone forget to put that in Dave's contract?

He might have been visiting family or looking for a job somewhere outside of aviation.

Apparently he works for Texas Pacific Group now, Bonderman's group out of Texas, but its DC office. He certainly has ties to them.

I hope all of the US Airways employees treat him like a big piece of edited!

No, I believe Chiames and Glass need their jobs..they'll stay for the big pay-out.

Siegel will have a difficult time running another co. He should pray he can land a Director's job or something in middle managment. I am sure stockholders of public company's will be watching where he gets employed, so they can sell their stock ASAP.
