Management "reserves the right to contract out any or all work covered by the CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement), if by doing so, the Company is able to accomplish the work more economically"

The above is from the company proposal to the CWA. We are being pounded in the head by A320 and others to sign a contract. I am just curious as to what the company might do if they had the above in writing.

Well I believe you would see reservations outsourced and many mainline station agents gone.

I think mgt should require ALPA to sign this one: Management "reserves the right to contract out all flying covered by the CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement), if by doing so, the Company is able to accomplish the work more economically"

All workers should tell the company to make ALPA irrelavent like the propaganda pilot tells the IAM.

The clause should read the company can outsource all and any narrowbody aircraft flying.

Therefore we can make propaganda pilot irrelavent.

Read the whole Company proposal. I find it hard to believe that they would get anyone to perform the CWA work. The proposal is so absurd no group could perform the work....unless they live on Dog Chow!! :(

"Management "reserves the right to contract out any or all work covered by the CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement), if by doing so, the Company is able to accomplish the work more economically

This should be the first line of the latest ALPA, "Unique Transaction, In depth Negotiated session, Bilateral Agreement.....blah,blah,blah.... with Mr. A320 promoting it in nausea. What's good for the Goose should be good for the babbling Gander.

i think we should hear a320's opinion but i have a feeling he wont make one here as he is way too busy cramming what should be in place for the iam when it doesnt
even concern him!-or should say why does it concern him so much to butt in on the iam??????
