earlier today the CWA released the final copy of the contract on CWA.Net......

I saw nothing directly addressing how many more stations will be expressed.

I read where the 279 a/c minimum is going bye-bye, but no other details.

Are there any? I'm guessing all but the hubs and focus cities, sooner than later.

I believe that the elimination of the minimum aircraft is clear way for the company to take delivery of the smaller RJ's then replace them with the jets in the medium size cities which in turn then would re-classify them into express or MDA.....the door is now open for the company to put that plan into action which I believe will happen.....

That won't be known until some of the Suckers fall for the T/A with a Yes Vote.
As soon as the ink is dry, the Expressing will begin. Don't be fooled by that $18 an hour carrot that the company is waving, as it will only be tasted by a few stations.

Proposed contract ratification vote to be counted at Noon, Thursday, Dec. 23...

CWA has contracted with the American Arbitration Association to conduct the Telephone/Internet contract ratification vote on the changes to our contract, just as we have in all our previous contract votes.
Members may vote either on the telephone or on the Internet. The vote will be tallied and announced by AAA at Noon Eastern Time, Thursday, December 23.
AAA will mail out, this week, the voting instructions along with your AAA PIN (Personal Identification Number) to each member's home address.
Also mailed to each employee's address later this week, in a separate envelope, will be the packet of three ratification documents prepared by the CWA Local Presidents: 1)The Local Presidents' Letter of Recommendation; 2) the Summary of the Changes; 3) the Actual Term Sheet of the Changes.

IF YOU FAIL TO RECEIVE YOUR VOTING INFORMATION, CONTACT AAA AT 1-800-529-5218.
