Cwa Buyouts

they will file 7 before they pay one red cent to anyone.
CWA was sucked into a bunch of lies by their union and management.

Really, I can't believe the CWA did have some sort of protection writen into the contract. It seems like the company is really stringing the employees along. The should have had a cut-off date or some type of guarantee or the deal is void.

Also found out part timers with less seniority are getting out before some full timers who have more seniority(staffing needs?)...the language was somewhat vague in the EO paperwork in this regard, but it sucks donkey tush nonetheless.

Still nothing on the west coast stations yet. Seems Jerry Glass is slapping the agents in the face one more time.......

Wow, lots of surprises all around. The people who want out asap still havent been told officially when their date is, but probably first part of May. The kicker is everyone else is Jun-Aug THIS YEAR! Even those who put down Mar-Jun next year got AUG this year as their date. Lots of upset people today when told. Some who were retiring and planned on working a year to get some $ saved up and their ducks in a row before leaving are going to be gone in 4 months now. I guess everyone should have known something like this was going to possibly happen given the wide window of opportunity in the wording.

PA res agts got May/June/July....and nothing else beyond Jul! Including specialty desks. Sounds like PA res will be history in Aug. Rev up the RV Brucie, we've got the month of Aug. to blow our severence in ACY. If we're transfering to INT, we'd better start loading up the Uhaul on our own dime, and prepare ourselves for hell.

I work for no airline and/or company. I work for my child...so that he has a roof over his head and food on his plate that is blessed by our Lord. It is so sad that ENOUGH is never enough for some...they want it all. God bless the greedy...your day has come. To all the customers that thought $29.00 was too much..best of luck to you, keep searching, I'm sure you'll find it somewhere, someday, sometime. To all the customers that didn't hesitate with your credit card on a $3,000 ticket...you are the best...you deserve the best...I hope you get the best, I'll be thinking of you in my next job...I hope I can serve you again someday.

here is a thought? may be usair wants to get the ramp completely outsourced by 6-30-05 and see how many suckers would stay and work for 10.06 at piedmont airlines before they move on to getting rid of the fine fantastic cwa agents. this is just a thought

So......you only wanted the high-price business to support your lifestyle?

Do you only shop at the highest-priced grocery store too? Because both industries are commodities.

Ever occur to you that some can't afford a $200.00 ticket, much less a $3,000 one? Oh, so if they can afford 3k tey are, "the best." Ridiculous. The world and the people in it are good if it serves you.
