Has anyone received their release dates yet? Today is April 11. The company is supposed to post the information today, but our manager has nothing yet. The company did promise those who applied for the BuyOut will be notified of the month of release no later than April 11.
 
The original paperwork said no later than 6 PM Monday April 11. No doubt they will wait until 6 PM. The tention is mounting!!!!!!!!!!
 
Funny thing is they say we are overstaffed by 9. We had about 6-8 who wanted to leave ASAP, even some who wanted to be gone back in March. Manager has agent lines covered until new bid in May so they can leave (a couple have already bought a house away from here and were planning on leaving next week for good and others have traded off a couple weeks), but he cant release anyone yet. Hopefully tonight they will get the word they are out of here. If the company wants them gone, get rid of them. They are in the mindset that they are out of here already and not doing any good to keep them hanging on since we wont be short agents when they are gone.
Supposedly the holdup has to do with CSS replacements for EOS coming in at $9/hr. Company knows not too many people are going to come from within for that price. I dont think they expected nearly 100 CSS to put in to leave and now realize that they are going to have lots of junior/fresh off the street supervisors if something isnt done. Funny thing is THIS is what the company pounded on us for and they got it. Hopefully CWA can get something in return for giving relief on this. Would be nice for those of us downgraded to part time could get replacement EO spots and keep our current salary. Whats good for the company ya know..... :up:
 
PIT Res is out, most everyone is either June, July, or August. There are a few that got May dates. However, they have very high seniority.
 
I just got off the phone with the managers secretary in IND.
She said that our manager doesn't know anything and hasn't
heard anything. She also said that he told her US didn't know how in the world
they would pay all of us off. I just want OUT. I can't take this company anymore.
Rumor in IND is that US is going to hold onto all of us the full 18 months,
even though last week we were overstaffed by 3 part timers and 1 full timer on the new May schedule.
 
INT res received our packets just a little while ago........I am in gen sales and was given July. International CSD is Sept, international agents received August. Most of the specialty groups are also Sept.

My question.......remember the company can change this 30 days in either direction as long as they give 30 days notice. I'm thinking they choose dates based on a "best case senario." I have a feeling these dates will be delayed......
 
I was off today and just got a phone call from an agent who was working this evening in CLT...the list is still not out. This is because an agent was fired a couple of weeks ago that had put in for the buy-out. They are saying the list needs to be redone. OH PLEASE....what a crock. IF anyone hears anything else other than what I was told , please reply-----I can't stand it any longer, the suspense is killing me. 🙁
 
I found out I'm stuck here another 5 months, assuming I'm not carted off to the looney bin by then.
What happened to the GET RID OF THESE HIGH PAID SENIOR LIABILITIES AS FAST AS POSSIBLE??
 
Well I just found out a few minutes ago DCA has their list.
Not sure how this is happening. As of yesterday per a local
CWA president, company had not asked for an extension
on posting the list.
 
they will file 7 before they pay one red cent to anyone.
CWA was sucked into a bunch of lies by their union and management.
