I am a furloughed US Airways mainline flight attendant. When I was furloughed I was making $23 a flight hour.
If I chose to go to MidAtlantic, with my seniority my pay would be $17.67 per flight hour.
Guess what 23% of $23 is? $17.71.
23% and a few cents more.
Wonder how the math works the higher you go? Maybe now the mainline folk will have a look at that MAA contract. They sure didn't when they signed it for thier junior co-workers.
Rico has a point in another thread that it will be hard to convince anyone that they can't take a 23% pay cut when 250 mainline F/As already have and are working.
