P.S. Consider this, if the little old lady from Pasadena passes up a flight on AA because we don't have a $99 fare to LGA, we have lost $99. Would that even cover the fuel it takes to lift her behind into the air and transport it across the country?

if one really thinks about it, the old lady may have paid $99 BUT throw in a delay or an overbooked flight, agents offer a $500 voucher for a volunteer to take the flight out the next day and she takes it, she gets a free night at a hotel, and an upgrade to FC the next day.

so in hindsight, we're paying little old lady to fly.
