The biggest tradgedy on the Iraq/Afghan screw up is the injured vets coming out of combat. They are being neglected and no one is doing a dam thing. SecDef Hagel said he would have a plan for transfer of information between the DoD and the VA in 30 days and that was Apr 15 so where is the plan? DoD is looking for a replacement for AHLTA but the VA uses VISTA. Nice example of our tax dollars at work in the military. Mean while vets are waiting 9 months and more to get treatment for injuries in the lkine of duty.
We have companies like Google and Apple who's job is to make the transfer of info easy. The Obama campaign was contacting millions of people door to door to get info for voting, there were articles on their data mining efficiency. Why can't the government contract with and say this is what we need? Make it happen and do it now.
