Does anyone here know when the certificates merge later this month, if the east aircraft will only stay with east crews, and west ac with west crews, or will they start mixing up the aircraft. Obviously we cant mix crews yet, but I wonder if we will start seeing east aircraft in say OAK, SNA, ONT, etc. and west ac in places like BUF, MHT, etc. Any insight is appreciated.

The operating certificates will not be merged this month.

The company will announce a delay shortly. There is a strong possibility they will continue separate for some time.

That would make a lot more sense. Since we can't mix aircraft & crews, there is no real benefit of merging certificates. Let the west avoid going to the antiquated FOS/DECS as long as possible!

You are incorrect. With the FOS Migration comes single certificate. This will not allow East Crews to fly West planes, or West Crews to fly East planes, but we will operate under one certificate. FOS Migration is the final piece for FAA approval for single cert. Contract agreements will be the piece that has to fall into place to allow the mingling of crews and airplanes.
