Bos Mechanics

Talking with some of the mechanics in PIT they say they have the Airbus B check from Boston because 20 mechanics and the supervisor left to go work at AmericaWest on their B check.

Can anyone shed any light on this? According to the mechanics the bid board has had jobs up in BOS for a few weeks but no takers..

It is an Airbus A check! And reportedly lot of Mechanics went to JetBlue. At least 20jobs go un bid for BOS every week.

latest is pit base is trying like hell to move the check permanently to pit..includes some 'b' chk too i believe.....

Wasn't Jetblue. Not yet anyway.. When they add the additional gate space look for them to add additional technicians.

21 mechanic jobs have went unbid for 3 weeks now. It's my home station and I don't even want to go back.
