A friend of mine works over at JetBlue. They have a section in their computers that tells them what people get to travel for free/unlimited-CONFIRMED/space POSITIVE! I got a printout of of the list...

Only about 30 people on it, lots of them celebrities. People like Carson Daily, Don Imus, Mike & the Mad Dog (for you NYC sports talk listeners), etc...

Anyone want to guess who else was on the list?

Thats right, Dave Siegel and B.Ben Baldanza have free, unlimited travel on JetBlue anytime they want it. I thought maybe it wasn't so odd for airlines execs, so I looked at the list to see if there were any others... none except for good ol' Herb @ SWA. I guess Dave and Ben will still be traveling when they sell off US's assets!

I guess this really isn't anything important, but for some reason it kind of pissed me off when I saw it. Why do they diserve this privledge?

P.S. - US & B6 don't have a "great" relationship. Employee travel is ID-90 only.

I'd bet good money that you will find that David Neeleman flies US for free, too. You scratch my back, and so forth.

I don't know what I would do if I flew on JetBlue and looked over and saw Dave. I'd probably be sickened.

It would be nice if they were checking out the competition.

But they should do it just like us ordinary folk -- by buying tickets. And they should go through the same nightmare with their own airline too. I'll bet lots of things would change real fast if they had to put up with the crap we do...

Do you think a guy that made 1.3 million last year really gives a D!#$ if he's on a Bluejet list??? B)
