Ok so I am in college right now in ROTC but eventually I am going to become a pilot. Next semester I will start flight lessons for a private's on a single engine plane, then once I graduate I am going into the aviation branch of the army so I can fly helicopters. I've been needing a watch and since now I am an expert at breaking anything less then $70, I decided to invest in something a little more durable. Avation watches came to my attention and seem like a good idea since that's the direction I'm headed; however I'm not really sure what makes an aviation watch..... So my question is.........
What features a pilot's watch offers and what purposes do they serve? And since I'm already asking... I'm also courious about:
1. Do they make women's aviation watches? (I haven't seen any) 2. What is the flight computer that some of them seem to have? 3. What would I really need in a watch as a helicopter pilot?
Thanks
