SEOUL, Aug 4 (Reuters) - While the global trend in aviation has been for labour to make concessions as airlines cut costs in an era of record high fuel prices, striking pilots at Asiana Airlines had demanded golf clubs be delivered to them during layovers.

Good story, thanks for the post.

Sounds like the folks overseas know how to choke a golden goose too!

Unfortunately, this thread will go nowhere because people on this board do not care (nor probably even know) about foreign airlines.

I've tried int'l threads before w/o luck. Too bad, because some of these airlines should eventually own our legacy carriers (after the 24.9% law is tossed).

Ya think people would be interested in prospective employers, no?
