You got that right. Add to the entire onboard experience, how about multiple gate changes requiring customers to go back and forth between concourses and have to go through the TSA nitemare every time! There is a lady on a usenet group complaning about 7 gate changes, back and forth between the same two gates, for the same flight in a 40 minute span by AA at MIA over the weekend. I have to admit I've experienced that as well, multiple gate changes, and gate agents who's hands are tied and all they can say is you need to write to consumer affairs to complain. I can't count how many times I've overhead other passengers proclaim they will never fly this *$&%( airline again, and I bet they don't!

As a frequentflyer,I think that something airline employees take for granted...."the customer will come back." Those in the hub cities perhaps, but always remember those of us that live in the spoke cities have a choice.

When it comes to service,I am your perfect customer. I do not care,if I see a FA during the whole trip. I just want a gate agent that tells me the truth. I pay AA money to take me from point A to B,not to entertain me. But when things go wrong(weather/late flights) just tell me the truth. We are all adults,we understand, and those pax that do not.........Call Security, its a new world after 9/11.

Spacewaitress, I got your email...thank-you SO MUCH.

AAStew, I don''t think we need John Ward''s head on a platter. My understanding from the AA4M is that he presented it (he had to) to the BOD and they voted on it. He only votes as a tie-breaker. Well, we know how the 13/5 vote went.

Geez, more shenanigans than Florida 2000. I THINK I voted for Al Gore in 2000...LOL. Shudder to think I may have voted for Pat Buchanan! EEK! I do respect that he looks out for the US workforce though (of course that may only be if they are white, male, straight, and Christian!).

I voted "NO" b/c I believe we are headed to BK regardless and I believe we will be double-dipped.

I can accept the hourly cuts and all the bells and whistles being cut (night-time, galley pay-which is unnecessary seeing as we rarely serve food now-, holiday pay, and VC reduction. I cannot accept a per-diem cut and the work-rule concessions.

As it is, my hourly cut will be $4.35/hr. Being junior, the TAFB really does pay a lot of bills for me.

If the concessions go through, I will have to get a 2nd job and I live a very conservative lifestyle!

My ghettomobile is paid for, my rent is $400/mo, and my credit card debt is under $1,500. My bills are no-frills, I don''t even have cable! (Which bites and is why I hate turns! LOL).

Sigh, I guess we''re all a bit melancholy right now.

Thanks to all for the "Caliente" diversion...we need it so much!!

Does anyone else think the Spanish speaker on the safety video sounds like Don Francisco (the big guy) from Sabado Gigante?

let''s hope for the best,

Coop

apfah8tr,

I''m so sorry to hear someone in Crew Sked is going to be laid off.

It makes me angry that they don''t allow MGMT to be recalled. Are you guys still level 2''s?

My B-day wish for you tomorrow is to stay off this BB (heck, the Internet for that matter) stressing yourself out.

My wish is for you to have mucho margaritas and I wish I had a tape of "Caliente" to boardmail you (LOL). Of course, if Caliente is shot in Miami, you would HAVE to drink Mojitos instead

take care and Happy Birthday!

Coop

Okay,
No head on the platter, my parents live in Carol City, if you are not afraid to drive there I will tell them you are coming over to watch cable! My sister in law is in SoBe, she is one hot mamacita, (if you know of any NICE guys)maybe you can watch at her place....

That is true like the US VP is the senate tie breaker. John ward was the one who brought fourth the resolution to extend the voting. He is and should be accountable. His side kick bott was the one to second it on the floor.
