I have felt all along we should have a revote and make sure each VALID ballot is counted. This would decide the true outcome of the APFA President election.

A re-vote? I don' think so.
The DOL will not IMMEDIATELY install Tommie if the 16 ballots that will be opened this week result in her election....They will give APFA until 9/3, or whatever the original deadline they had, to give them an chance to correct the voting irregularities..... THEN if Apfa does not resolve the matter internally, they will take action. And they can then install Tommie, or they could order a new election. A new election is high unlikely, as it is impossible to re-create the situation as it was at the time of the original vote. An election is suppose to reflect people's opinion at a given time in history, not 3 months later.
Ward supporters will cling to that hope until the day Tommie is sworn in....after much wrangling by the APFA inner circle, the end result will be Adios John, Hello Tommie. Ward does not have enough class to concede defeat and resign....he will leave crying and screaming....someone pass the hanky, please.....

But this is where it gets tricky, if they have a revote, which I am sure Ward would rather have, than the furloughees will not be able to vote if the constitution ammendments pass! What will the flight attendants do? I can tell you NOTHING, because we are an apathetic group for the most part. If it doesn't affect us too adversely we just sit by. It is the truth folks.

The reason you gave about the furloughees not being dues current to vote is a very good reason why the DOL may not allow a revote. I do believe that evidentally JW will be gone. It may take until 9/3. Anyway, I hope I am not wrong.

Do you actually think the Constitution Ammemdments will pass? This would be digging our own graves. This is not going to pass now, tomorrow or ever. I have yet to fly or speak to any flight attendant that is voting yes.

Consider the 5000 who voted for jw thinking he was the great a savior for the union, and would protect them from those TWAAer's.

Again the word for today is APATHY or AApathy. I think alot of f/a's are not voting as it does not affect them directly yet. The ones who want this to pass will be doing the voting. I hope I am wrong but look at our history. Then again the only time the majority of us voted the vote was changed!!!
Am I becoming a cynic or what????

Mikey,

5,000 vs. the rest of the membership. Even if his brainwashed friends vote yes, it still will not pass. The Constitution Ammendment changes are going DOWN
just like John WAArd is!

As much I would love to see Ward working with the new rules HE was responsible for.....and working with the miserable f/a he helped create, I seriously doubt he will ever go back to flying.... He will get some cushy appointment from one his cronies, who still has a job at APFA, or he will cross over to AA management.
You honestly don't think he will go back on the line do you? that would be too much like justice.

Very true, but then look at leon and preston. Screwed us with the FN agreement, first across the picket line and wont help in the anyway with controlling or helping to reverse the FN agreement. They were the only ones present during the negotiations with the company and the only one who could argue language intent. They seem to get on fine in Dallas.
