By the time the FAA and other regulators from around the world sign off on the MAX the amount of time to get all issues resolved in getting the aircraft back in revenue service will probably be several months later. If the latest estimate holds true then I see 2020 as another lost year for the MAX.
Issues I'm referring to are....

Pilot training, maintenance training, aircraft preparation back into service and other issues that will arise.
