Why do you need a form? The TWU has the abillity to do the samething and can be submitted at the appropriate time. I'm sure all the Unions have the same capabilities.

Seems dumb to have a form, does this mean at amfa that if the members submit their own changes on a seperate sheet they will be null and void? I beleive this is another avenue to deceive the members If amfa national does not like the proposal. Sorry your form was filled out wrong it has been determined to be invalid. sounds like another tool to call the convention invalid. Sound familier?

Could you quote the TWU Constitutional section that refers to the members of the local having direct amendable authority of the constitution? I would be interested also in your opinion in the removal of Article 22 of the same constitution.

Just because you are use to operating under an archaic way of doing things does not mean the membership cannot change.

Cio, That is an AMFA form. I have to agree with you on this one. There is no need for this form with the TWU. The TWU cannot be changed from within!!!
