That's the exact same article that started this thread in post #1. I was hoping you were bringing something new, like McAdoo's report and not lapdog Ted Reed's interpretation of it.

Sorry, I had the AvondalePartners article titled, AMR - It's More Than Just Higher Costs, then when I linked it, a different article came up. I have the Bob McAdoo report in front of me but can't find the link on the web.
 
to highlight the strategic challenges facing AA, they will be reducing at least the following routes during parts of the upcoming winter.

JFK-MXP, JFK-NRT, and DFW-MAD all reduced to less than daily service
ORD-DUB and JFK-FCO will be exited.

While some of these have traditionally been seasonally reduced or exited during the winter, not all have been and not all will be helped by jiont ventures.

Any airline's ability to win and maintain key corporate contracts is challenged when they don't maintain consistent daily year round service in markets that their competitors do.
