Where did this post come from? And why? Let me tell you something, we do care, you guys are in many of our discussions on the floor. You need to contact some of the recent AA mechanics we just hired. Matter fact, I have been posting every time SWA makes a new opening off the street for a new hire. SWA is looking at these local guys from AA and Allience. Really not understanding where your post came from.

I hope that never happens to you guys either, but look at the industry.
When SWA starts showing powerpoints that BRANDX airline has reduced maintenance costs and SWA must compete, get ready for the concession train.
The way this industry has been working, it isn't a matter of 'if' but 'when'.
Be happy with what you have but prepare for the worst.

To all the AMTs at SWA,
As an AA AMT I pray we can say NO till we are provided with a decent contract. Unfortunately I am represented by the twu appointed and unaccountable sellouts. They are a dues sucking extension of HR and have harmed our craft beyond measure. Fortunately we have an AMFA drive going on. But lo and behold the teamsters are also trying to organize us. This is nothing but a blatant desperate attempt by the twu to try and keep AMFA out of AA.
