AGC Salary per the 141 District By-laws:

For the faithful performance of their duties, each Assistant General Chairman shall receive the following monthly salary rate, effective 01-01-06:
First six (6) months' service $7,988.24
Second six (6) months' service $8,066.27
Thereafter $8,145.58
The above salaries shall be increased each January 1st by a percentage equal to the percentage increase in weighted average hourly earnings on a union-wide basis. In addition, a per diem while away from his designated headquarters in the regular performance of his duties.
© Each Assistant General Chairman will be granted an annual vacation equal to that which he would receive if working under the terms of the Agreement.

Always, which is why in any given T/A proposal the IAM is quick to push it on the masses.

I don't think most people would much mind the AGC's salaries if they thought they were getting a decent return on their investment.

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to happen much as of late in any of the IAM districts.

The rates of pay are in the 141 by-laws.
The 141 convention is coming up soon.
Try suggesting a salary cap as a by-law change!
Ask Tim how he was recieved with that.
