Yes, but (as I remember) once upon a time there was a company named Pan Am. Pan Am consisted of an airline, a luxury hotel chain, and a huge skyscraper in New York City. Well, the airline wasn't doing as well as they hoped; so, they sold the skyscraper one year and showed a profit. That didn't actually improve the airline's performance; so, they sold the hotel chain, and showed a profit. The following year all they had was the airline which was still losing money, and they went out of business. (It may not have happened exactly this way, but you get the gist.) Wonder if there is a parallel here with the AF-KLM actions?
