ABE the next victim......

Isn''t Delta strictly RJ out of ABE? The only difference I see is that Delta offers several flights daily to ATL, while US has only one (still mainline) flight to CLT. The CLT flight is our favorite when flying to TPA.

UA is strictly RJ to ORD and J-41 to IAD. Northwest seems to be the only major with big jet service out of ABE.

Will US ever increase service at desirable airports like ABE?
 
DL is all RJ, and after we go to Express NW will be the only one left with Mainline flights using DC-9''s. From what I know they only have one a day to DTW. As for US adding anything back, who knows. As I am sure you know there were 5 flights to PIT, 2 to CLT and 1 to MCO in the past....most did very well....where have all those passengers gone????

Things there are a different world.
The rules are...NONE. you get no sick leave, you get no DAT days, they assign you vacation when they see fit, pull your swipes to the parking lots so they can say you are late for work and fire you, mandatory you when ever, not because of state of emergency but lack of people. And dont get hurt on the job, and if you do it is your own fault. And you get all the way there and guess what, you get wacked a few weeks later due to someone else closing and coming for a visit to the CITY of BROTHERLY LOVE.

I just checked reservations we made for November. At the time we booked, the ABE-CLT legs were 319''s; now they''re ERJ''s operated by MESA. The worst part of the change from a passenger''s perspective is that the ABE-CLT flight will depart at 6:50 am, arriving CLT at 8:25 am. The current mainline flight departs at 7:50 am. We''ll now have over 2 hours in CLT before our connection to TPA.

This could actually make us choose Southeast''s nonstop service from ABE-PIE or SFB in the future.
 
Yet another bright move on our part. Downsize the A/C to a Mesa Jungle-Jet, and have the 50 passengers sit in CLT for 2 hours. I''m sure the loads will dwindle for CLT just as they did for PIT. More self destruction by the brains in CCY. Don''t worry, DL or Southeast are waiting with open arms for our unwanted.
