Not saying you're wrong about sending it directly to the NMB, but here's what their manual says:Still time to send in a card. Only you just have to send it to the NMB. So here is the address.
Not saying you're wrong about sending it directly to the NMB, but here's what their manual says:
An applicant or intervenor may present the Investigator with additional authorizations up until 4 p.m., Eastern Time, on the day the Investigator receives the applicable list and signature samples.
The manual doesn't say anything about individuals sending cards directly to the NMB.

That's why I wanted to be clear that the info wasn't necessarily wrong, just different from what the NMB manual states. Hopefully someone has verified that the NMB will accept authorization cards from individuals.Jim,
This is from the USAPA website:

I did, but apparently you didn't read mine. I wasn't questioning the NMB accepting cards until they get the list from the company. The quote from their manual which I included clearly says that they will.Read the post.
Does anybody know whether the West group is even included in this since the NMB has not recognized the group as a single entity for negotiating? I would like to think that everyone would be included. If the NMB only grants the vote to US Airways East pilots, will there be another to decide whether ALPA or USAPA will represent the entire group (if USAPA wins approval)? Just wondering.
Yes.
I know you know but I wonder what others are thinking when they say:
"... since the NMB has not recognized the group "(AWA)" as a single entity for negotiating ...",
hence, the question.
The transition agreement is a contract among the company and the two pilot groups and it has nothing to do with the NMB finding that the AW and US pilots are a single bargaining unit.
