does that negate his comments including that the 330neo might be a suitable airplane for AA?

Hopefully the desire for a truly capable smaller TATL aircraft and a LGA transcon capable large narrowbody will motivate Boeing to step up development of a total new aircraft.

there is a wonderful feature on this board that you can use if you don't want to see my posts.

I'm going nowhere.

AA is a major US airline and this is an aviation chat board.

if you want an AA employee exclusive forum, go start one.

There are no barriers to participation in any sub-forum on this site.

This board fought long and hard to not become just an AA-US forum given that most of the activity on this forum has long been from AA and US employees and supporters.

A balanced and competing mindset is exactly what is needed.

Schubert is not an engineer
Nope. He just ran Capacity Planning for 15 years, and spend 8 years working at Boeing.

With a background like that, what could he possibly know about an aircraft's capabilities?...

I've worked with a lot of engineers over the years who knew their particular domain really, really well, but would probably get lost inside a Walmart.
