I heard not only timetables are coming back but also pax kits withcoupons and vouchers for food if AA srews up.I know that TWA spent over 675000 a year printing timetables im sure AA has figured a way to lessen that.

I hadn't heard about timetables, but it looks like AA might be "borrowing" from the twa customer service plan called "Tango" that enabled employees to be more pro-active in dealing with whatever situation should arise. We were givin folders full of specialty coupons and lots of leeway in issuing mileage, drink, food, coupons, etc that were color coded from pink to bright red depending on the customers blood pressure. LOL. It is a great idea to empower the work group to try and solve the problem instead of passing the buck to someone else... It's called ownership.

I hope you are not referring to the resurrected 1999 thread on Flyertalk.com bearing a title indicating printed timetables are coming back! That misled a lot of people who did not bother to look at the date.

we at AA had a program -SIP-it was great...when we had it our customer svc ratings were at or near the top of the industry-It was expensive-than "abused"-hence it was terminated...
