P.S. Someone should tell the web folks to update the Envoy refurb progress page on USAirways.com. Not only do they show 0 A330-200's with the new Envoy seating, but they also only show 3 in the fleet. What a joke of an operation.

Remember how the complaints went on for pages because US Management screwed up the delivery of seats for the new A330-220. Guess what - it happens at well run airlines as well. See story.

I assume the link was to this story about ANA, Singapore and other airlines having to delay putting new aircraft like the A380 and 777-300 in service due to delays from the seat manufacturer.

The reason is apparently:

Koito spokesman Yoichiro Kuroiwa said an axle in a new seat design failed a safety test in Japan, pushing back by six months All Nippon’s plan to take new planes.
