A330 in new colors takes to the skies tomorrow

While I like the old livery I DO admit that it needed to be changed for one very big reason, it had Mr. Stephen M. Wolf written all over it. That livery was his baby and it still reminds me of him today. While he certainly made for a lavish company he was a terrible person. I like the new livery today but think it was a bit cheap of the company to not come up with something more creative. All they did was flip the colors and lighten them. It is what it is though. Hey, everything else to date has been half A$$ED for the most part. Can THAT be argued?

Say what you will about Wolf, but he did turn a backwards airline into one of the best (albeit, briefly). An award-winning Trans-Atlantic product (with REAL food from REAL chefs), new name to erase "useless air" image, hired REAL marketing people to brand the airline and design a REAL product (Envoy, Attache, Dividend Miles, cabin interiors, etc.). Like many have said, the livery his image consultants came up with was professional, different, and perhaps most importantly, it gave us credibility on the international stage. We now have an internationally recognized logo.

While I don't want to be his concubine or share a meal with him, I do have to give Wolfie credit where credit is due.

Is there a reason while the A/C is in the paint shop thaey don't also do the interior updates/refurbs?
