Just a few minor corrections to your post..

The most we are certified to operate from land is 180 minutes, not 360 minutes.

EOW stands for Extended Overwater.. this gives us the ability to fly beyond the 60 minutes from a suitable airport.

I thought that anything over 60 min is ETOPS not EOW?

In order to get to BDA you have to have HF but still not ETOPS right?

Does anyone really know why none of the 321's were not EOW'd? Seems like they could change the 1 and 4 doors to slide rafts, put a liferaft in overheads at 2 and 3 doors and then all the other equipt and radios it needs.

None of them are ETOPS. They are EOW.
